Britannia Sales Team

To further enhance their outstanding position in the market and following the recent announcement of its 10 year product warranty, Britannia announces its new Customer support team.

Steve Cheese comes from Halton to head-up the UK Sales team and is ably assisted by Stuart Rimell (Southern ASM), Mark Scott (Northern ASM), Pete Cox (Estimating & Technical Manager) and Craig Vincent (Estimating & Technical Support).

“Within this team, there is a depth of experience, ability and eagerness to progress that I have rarely seen before” says Steve Cheese “and we are already seeing an increase in business reflecting how our customers feel about this new set-up”.

To further augment this service, Britannia has recruited Bire Shrestha as Operations Manager. Bire was with Britannia until 2007 but recently rejoined the company having had a spell with Halton. Bire oversees the project management, design and installation processes and is supported by Tom Ramsden (Project Manager), Andy Mott (Design Engineer), Martin Bull (Systems Engineer) and Paul Hawson & Chris Brown (Installation team Leaders).

Bire states: “We have made huge strides in building customer confidence, trust and loyalty in this part of our business and we believe that it is an intrinsic part of the first-class sales process which our customers have come to expect.”

Britannia is now able to offer pre-contract design drawings for specifiers and a new stream-lined ‘Quick-Quote’ system to provide a 24 hour response time on day-to-day enquiries & proposals for customers.

“I am so pleased that we have been able to put together what I consider to be the dream-team of customer service in Kitchen Ventilation” says Ian Levin (Britannia’s MD) “because customer service is becoming ever-more crucial in enabling our customers to support the catering market-place.” Levin himself has been in the kitchen ventilation industry since the early 1980’s; starting out with Spantile Ltd and then after a short time with Vianen, he started Britannia in 1995.

Britannia also operates growing business in the Middle East. In addition, Britannia has products manufactured under licence in Australia & New Zealand with further markets opening up around the globe.
