Following on from a strong end of 2013 and an equally impressive start to 2014, Bells have continued to show strong growth in the second quarter of 2014 and have secured several major project wins in London and the South East underlining their strength and overall standing in the London market as being the Major F G Wilson deliverer of Turnkey Generator Installations.

Among the highlights of their project wins Bells secured the contract for the tenants generator turnkey installation of a P730P Generator within an 11 week programme at Finsbury Circus House, the installation consisting of almost 400 m² of acoustic ceiling/wall lining, new oxidation catalyst exhaust silencer system, and a 8,000 Litre Bulk Storage system dura-steel encased as well as all associated controls and pipework. The project commenced in mid June and was successfully handed over for the end of August, and clearly demonstrates the strong working relationship that Bells has with Skanska in order to achieve completion.

As with Skanska, Bells further increased their strong relation with T. Clarkes successfully securing another 3 contracts with them. The major project win comprises the new Bloomberg Building at Cannon Street consisting of 2 No. P1500P 11 KV Generators within 62 dB(A) @ 1Mtr Enclosures and a Dual PLC System control the entire building, before following it up by securing the Romford ROC (Rail Operations Centre) Railtrack project consisting of a P1700P within an 85 dB(A) @ 1Mtr acoustic enclosure with a 72 Hour Bulk Storage System. Lastly Bells secured their fifth consecutive project with T. Clarkes at the Stanhope Chiswick Park, bringing the total of Generator Sets installed at the site to 8.

Other project wins included 127-135 Sloane Street (P200-4), Queen Mary’s University (P88-6), 61 Oxford Street (P450-1), 207-211 Old Street (P450-1) and Fisher Clinical Services (P800), each project consists of full turnkey solution delivery including acoustics, fuel system and PLC’s.

With several more project wins already been secured at the start of quarter 3 of 2014 and more in the pipeline, Bells are well on their way to having a record turnover year whilst securing their main project workload for 2015.
