Bells Cannon Place

Situated directly opposite The Walbrook building and located above Cannon Street Station, Bells have secured the contract for the Tenants Fit-out at Cannon Place the BCO award winning 400,000 Sq Ft 'Best Commercial Workplace' 2013.

Bells installed the 500KVA life safety generator under the original shell & core contract within the remote plant tower for the building, as part of the tenants fit-out contract Bells are to de-commission and strip the existing generator and associated services out.

Within the plant tower 3 off 11KV 1700KVA F.G. Wilson Generators with remote radiators are to be installed within a 3 floor half oval shaped dedicated generator plant area, as part of the contract Bells are to fully design and develop the Generator system to fit within the extremely tight space allocation.

With an acoustic requirement set a 45dB(A) @ at 15 Mtrs, Bells are to design and install an acoustic remote floor, exhaust silencer inc oxidation catalyst arrangement. inlet and outlet attenuation, and wall lining to meet the requirement.

Three new 30 Mtr 500mm I/D Stainless Steel Flues are to installed up the vertical of the plant tower to roof termination height, whilst the existing fuel system is to be modified to provide the generators with 24 hours running at full load to include new fuel transfer pumps and fuel polishing units.

An Allen Bradley/ComAp PLC system is to be installed to control the HV incomers and network within the building, as well as loadshedding of 48 No. Tenants Tap Off units. Bells are to install all auxiliary and control cabling associated with the generator equipment, including a 3 way Neutral Earth Contactor and cabling.

Installation started on site February 2014 with the sets being delivered to site in April 2014, final testing and commissioning including handover of the project is scheduled for September 2014.
